Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month in the Ratskeller in Pforzheim. This includes public holidays - should the first Thursday of the month happen to be one. Meetings nominally begin at 8pm, but people usually start to arrive from 7:30pm. If you are hungry or thirsty (or both) you can order refreshments from the Ratskeller´s regular and comprehensive menu. Sometimes there will be a short talk; sometimes there will be another activity; twice a year we have a `social´ evening; and in the run-up to Christmas the December meeting consists of a `Make and Bake´ sale with a raffle to boost club funds. Every couple of months or so, we organise an outing in addition to the meeting in the Ratskeller. This might be to go bowling, or for a country walk, or to visit a museum, or to visit a exhibition. It all depends what´s happening in the Pforzheim area. |
